About Alexandra

I’m Alexandra, and I’ve been working in wine tourism in Catalonia for more than seven years, including years spent working directly inside wineries.

For me, the most important part of any visit is how my guests feel. Are you comfortable? Do you want to ask questions and understand the wine in depth, or would you rather relax, enjoy the landscape, discover local food and simply have a beautiful day? I pay attention to those expectations from the beginning and adapt the experience accordingly.

My background combines practical experience with professional wine education. I am a DO Cava expert, natural wine expert, specialist in enology, WSET Level 3 certified, and a certified olive oil taster. This allows me to go deep when guests want to learn about grape varieties, soils, winemaking, sparkling wine production, natural wines or food and wine pairing (but only if you want to).

I also know Penedès through years of working closely with its wineries and producers. I know renowned estates as well as small family cellars, and I understand not only their wines, but what the visit itself feels like. That helps me choose places that suit each guest and combine them into a day that feels natural, interesting and never rushed.

Some guests come with a detailed list of wineries they want to visit. Others have no idea where to start. Both are welcome.

My role is to understand what you expect from the day, use my knowledge of wine and the region to make the right choices, and make sure you feel comfortable enough to simply enjoy the experience.
